ECUs can fail due to water ingress, burnt/shorted components and more. In many cases we can still recover and transfer the original data—even when there’s no communication via OBD or on the bench. Depending on the unit, methods include BDM/boot mode access, direct solder connection, or component/chip transfer where required.
Most BCM/BSI modules require programming before they’ll work on a vehicle. Using specialist tools and proven methods, we can clone most BCMs and make them plug‑and‑play, avoiding additional vehicle programming.
In some cases, if your original ECU is damaged beyond repair, we can take a second hand ECU and make it a plug‑and‑play replacement. This can include immobiliser delete when immobiliser data can’t be transferred (for example, if the immo chip is dead). It can also help resolve issues where keys can’t be programmed.
